Mustang Boys Hockey Team Advances in State Tourney

The Mustang boys hockey team has advanced to the quarter final round of the state tournament with a 4-2 road win over Acton-Boxboro on Wednesday. Medford, 12-5-3 heading into the tournament and seeded sixth, faces third seed Wilmington, 12-3-7, on Saturday, March 1. The game is taking place at 5:40PM at Chelmsford Forum. The winner will advance to the semi-final round to face either Arlington or St. John’s of Shrewsbury.

In other hockey news, the Lady Mustang hockey team was knocked out of the state tourney on Tuesday with a 4-1 loss to Woburn.
