Tufts Symphony Orchestra Concert April 21st

The Tufts University Department of Music presents a performance by the Tufts Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of John Page, in the Distler Performance Hall at the Perry and Marty Granoff Music Center on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. The orchestra will present Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 in D minor in its entirety as the culmination of their yearlong odyssey with the work. Rounding out the program are Beethoven’s “Coriolan Overture” and Tchaikovsky’s “Variations on a Rococo Theme”, featuring performance faculty cellist Emmanuel Feldman.
