Grace Episcopal, St. Joe’s Bless Palms Together

blessing palms

For over 30 years Medford’s St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church and Grace Episcopal Church have joined together to bless palms on Palm Sunday. The Reverend Noah H. Evans, Rector of Grace Episcopal Church and Father Chip Hines, Pastor of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Parish presided jointly in the Blessing of Palms, before each congregation returned to its respective church for the remaining of their Palm Sunday worship. In this age of many people around the world being spiritual, it is touching to see two churches come together. The photo has a beautiful array of colors. And it is nice to see my Patron Saint’s Church!
