Everett Man Arrested for Medford Stabbing

An Everett man was arrested on Monday for an April stabbing in Medford, according to Medford Police.

Maurice Morris, 23, was arrested at Woburn Superior Court while he “was there on another matter,” said police.

The Medford stabbing took place in the early morning hours on April 14th in the area of Winthrop and Capen Streets. Police issued a warrant for Morris’ arrest following an investigation.

Morris has been charged with assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife), according to information released by Medford Police.

No further details about the incident have been released.
