A Medford jewelry store has been accused of buying stolen property, according to information released by Medford Police.

Following an investigation, police obtained a search warrant for CTC Gold Refinery, a Medford Square business that offers “cash for gold” and jewelry and watch repair. Police say they retrieved “items of information” from the search.

Manager Aleksandr Yeghiyan, 25, of Medford, was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property over $250 and misleading a police investigation.

Police said the business also violated city ordinances regarding the buying and selling second of hand items. They are requesting a city hearing to revoke CTC’s second hand shop license.

According to Malden News Weekly, CTC also has stores in Malden and Marlborough. The Malden location opened in January.
