Local Opportunity for Recycling Old Electronics

CRT monitorOn Saturday June 7th, 2014, between 9:30am and 1:30pm, there will be an Electronics Recycling drive at the Brooks Elementary School in Medford. This event is hosted by the Brooks School PTO and is open to the public.

Any broken or obsolete electronic and electrical gadgets, including TVs, computer monitors, fax machines, cell phones, etc. will be accepted. Old metallic objects such as filing cabinets, washers, grills (without propane tanks), or old tools can also be accepted for disposal. Items will be collected at the rear of the Brooks School (388 High St, Medford) – please enter the driveway from Prescott St. All items will be properly repurposed or recycled by CRT, a local R2-certified operator.

This event is a PTO fundraiser and patrons will be asked to donate $5-$25 per item to cover recycling charges. Please bring CASH! The Brooks PTO will provide a tax receipt in acknowledgement of each donation.

All are encouraged to take this opportunity to spring-clean while supporting local school needs. Thank you in advance for your support!

Please see the Brooks website for more details.
