Legion Baseball Team Opens Season Friday

Medford’s Dom Ramasci will be returning this summer.

The Medford Post 45 baseball team opens its season at Malden on Friday. Coach Ryan Kozul said the team is hoping to improve on last year’s 15-5 record and sectional playoff appearance. The talented roster includes Medford’s Eric Spinale (P/OF), Mike Center (P/OF), Kevin Andrew (INF/OF), Justin Alley (P/C/INF), Dom Ramasci (INF), David Center (INF), Conor McGovern (OF), and Mike Egitto (INF/C); Malden Catholic’s Anthony Matarazzo (P/INF) and Ryan Covelle (P/OF), Arlington Catholic’s Matt Marino (C), Kyle Boudrias (INF), Christian Rosati (P/INF), Justin DeMarco (P/INF), Jake Ryan (P/INF/OF); Winchester’s Brendan Greene (INF) and Billy Christopher (P/INF/OF), and Belmont Hill’s Nolan Brennan (P/OF). First pitch at Devir Park on Friday is at 6PM. Medford’s first home game is Sunday, June 8 at 1:30 against Natick at Playstead Park.
