Sen. Jehlen Endorsed as Environmental Champion

Senator Patricia Jehlen (D-Somerville) of the Second Middlesex District has been named an “Environmental Champion” and has been endorsed for reelection by the Environmental League of Massachusetts Action Fund (ELM Action Fund), Massachusetts League of Environmental Voters (MLEV), and Clean Water Action.

“Pat Jehlen understands the connection between the environment and the economy,” said George Bachrach, President of the ELM Action Fund. “Clean energy technology has created 80,000 new jobs in the Commonwealth, and Senator Jehlen understands the synergy between the environment and the economy. It’s our future.”

“Our organizations are united in support of the extraordinary commitment to environmental protection made by Senator Jehlen,” said Chuck Anastas, MLEV board chairman. “We need her 21st century leadership in the state legislature.”
