2nd Annual Jingle Bell Walk/Run a Success

Over 370 runners were at the starting line on Saturday, November 29 for the 2nd Annual Jingle Bell Walk/Run. Walkers and runners were dressed for the season as well as the weather. The Boot Camp ladies were ready as was the Norton Family who came in their pajamas.

All proceeds from the event benefit teams and clubs at Medford High and Medford Voke-Tech. Last year’s Walk/Run raised over $12,000 divided among all teams and clubs that participated in the race. After this year’s race a $10 breakfast buffet was offered at Carroll’s Restaurant with proceeds going to Medford High and Medford Voke-Tech.

Lonnergan Insurance & Real Estate and Honda Cars of Boston are primary sponsors of the event. Their sponsorship ensures that all funds pledged to the race will go directly to the teams and clubs that take part in the race.
