Andrews Middle School to Dedicate Library to Pauline Walker

The Andrews Middle School is proud to announce that its school library will be dedicated to late teacher and life-long Medford resident, Pauline Walker, on Wednesday, December 17, 2014.

Pauline Walker was a teacher in the city of Medford for over fifty years. She prided herself on teaching and nurturing the children of the city she loved. Her devotion and passion for her craft was evident right up until her passing on December 24, 2013.

“Pauline was the true definition of a teacher. Teaching was her heart and soul and it showed on a daily basis,” said Paul D’Alleva, principal of the Andrews Middle School. “We were extremely lucky to have her here at our school, and we are thrilled that we can honor her memory with this dedication.”

The dedication ceremony will be the culmination of a day’s worth of presentations, activities and events based on the program’s theme: “Be Someone Who Makes a Difference.” The students, faculty, and staff of the Andrews will attend and participate, as well as local dignitaries and those who knew Pauline best.
