1st Major Snow of 2015 Coming Saturday

Snow Emergency in Effect in Medford as of 4PM Saturday Until Further Notice

A wintry mix and heavy snow could leave Medford with between three and seven inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from midnight Saturday through 7:00PM. Snow, sleet, and possibly freezing rain are expected in the morning, followed by rain and snow in the early afternoon. Snow is expected to continue falling up until 8PM, according to the latest forecast.

Medford has issued a snow emergency beginning at 4PM Saturday until further notice. During the snow emergency, cars on side streets are only allowed to park on the even side of the street, and no parking is allowed on main roads. A full list of streets where no parking is allowed during the snow emergency is available on the city’s website.
