My name is Pumba and I am wicked lucky that KC volunteers were trapping in my neighborhood! My owners had put me outside with no intention of ever letting me back inside their (and my) home. It was really scary for me to suddenly find myself alone; I had no idea what was happening to me. I can’t believe that my owners really just didn’t want me anymore. I’m a little stressed right now but happy to be warm and safe in the Kitty Connection Rescue Room. I love to play and get along with other cats. I’m a black tuxedo gal with the cutest little mustache and 2-3 years old. I am looking forward to that special someone who will give me that real forever home.

Millie

My name is Millie and I am a 7 year old gal looking for a family that will give me years of love! You see, I was previously used for breeding and all of the litters took a toll on my body. I wasn’t loved, I was used to make money a couple times a year for many years. When I was not breeding my life was contained in an outdoor kennel 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Rain or shine, snow or heat. When I came to Kitty Connection my spirit was not broken – these wonderful people looked into my eyes and I knew I was safe, would be loved and would never have to worry again. Then my heartworm test came back positive. Many AWESOME people who love dogs just like me made it possible for me to get the treatment that would save my life. It was a tough go for a couple of months because I needed to stay quiet and still and let the medicine work. And it did! So I am ready for my life to begin!

Kitty Connection is a no-kill, all volunteer rescue based in Medford and dedicated to helping animals in need. KC provides foster homes for them until they are adopted into loving, forever homes.

Cats/dogs are sometimes temporarily staying at foster homes away from the area.
