Tufts Professor to Speak at Freedom Fund Brunch April 18

Dr. Peniel E. Joseph, professor of history at Tufts University, is the featured presenter at the Freedom Fund annual breakfast set for Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Montvale Plaza, Stoneham.

He will address the topic “Fair and Just Legislation Promotes Quality Education, Civil Rights and Greater Voter Participation” at the event sponsored by the Mystic Valley Area Branch of the NAACP, which serves Arlington, Everett, Malden, Medford, Winchester and Woburn.

Tickets for the breakfast/brunch are $50.
