Crowd Turns Out for Boston Slave History Presentation at Royall House
On Wednesday night Medford’s Royall House hosted a presentation about Boston’s slave history by local journalists Lisa Braxton and Alex Reid. It was standing room only for the event, which included research conducted by the couple over the past several years. The colonial-era Royall House includes Slave Quarters, the only remaining structure of its kind in the Northern US, according to its website.
