Boston Marathoners Running in Honor of Krystle Campbell Make Fundraising Push

Runners participating in the Boston Marathon in honor of Medford native Krystle Campbell are trying to reach their $25,000 target in the final days before this year’s marathon.

Ten people will take on the 26.2 mile course on Marathon Monday in honor of Krystle. Four of those runners are supporting a scholarship at UMass-Boston while the rest are raising funds for a memorial fund that will benefit Medford High School. Those runners are in need of roughly $11,000 to reach their goal.

Donations can be made online through The Boston Foundation website.
