Camuso Not Running for Mayor

Over the last week I have been so humbled by the encouragement and support that I have received to run for Mayor in the city that I proudly call my hometown. I owe each and every person a sincere thank you. To those of you who have reached out to me in one form or another your words have meant so much. I have given this decision serious thought while looking back at the last 16 years I have been in public service.

I announced in December that I would not be seeking reelection because at the age of 37, I have a young family and I have personal and professional goals I would like to achieve. I am committed and devoted to my role at the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office and the special projects that I am currently working on. For these reasons I have made my decision to not run for mayor at this time.

Medford is the cornerstone of my life and I will continue to look for ways I can improve the quality of life for its residents as I move forward in my journey.

In the coming months I will aggressively campaign for the candidate that I feel will bring much needed change to the City of Medford.

I continue to look forward to working as your City Councilor.
