Hi, my name is Mr. Grey. Last summer, I was living my life outside and was very hungry. All throughout the fall and mild winter, I was fed by some kind people who eventually coaxed me into their basement. I quickly earned my way out of the basement and into my foster parents’ home. Then, they called Kitty Connection.

I need to be an “only” cat because I am an “alpha cat”. I really want a home where my owner is home most of the day; I get very lonely when no one is around. (I love to hang with people). I follow my foster mom around all the time and wherever she is…I am there with her. I purr when I get petted, roll over for belly rubs and “make biscuits” with my paws. My name is Hippo and I hope to get a new name along with a new owner by being here, in the Kitty Connection Rescue Room. I was discovered living under a porch and brought to KC by a local Animal Control Officer. I am an all black, short furred older boy (approx 10-12 years of age) and my fur was so severely matted that I had to be shaved and I now sport a “lion cut”. I am EXTREMELY sweet…. love, love, LOVE to be petted, and will roll over to have my (shaved) belly rubbed. I am one big hunk of love who cannot get enough! I don’t remember how I ended up lost and living under a porch, but I am happy to be getting a second chance at a wonderful life with, perhaps, you!!!

Kitty Connection is a no-kill, all volunteer rescue based in Medford and dedicated to helping animals in need. KC provides foster homes for them until they are adopted into loving, forever homes.

Cats/dogs are sometimes temporarily staying at foster homes away from the area.
