City Council Passes FY2016 Budget

On Tuesday, June 30 the Medford City Council voted 5-2, with Councilors Robert Penta and Breanna Lungo-Koehn dissenting, to pass the city’s budget for fiscal year 2016, which began July 1.

The $155,634,445 includes $52,933,000 for the schools, an amount that was unanimously approved by the School Committee in June, and a $252,325 increase in the library budget.
