Mayor Michael McGlynn will be closing his final term with a bang this fall as the city celebrates its 385th anniversary.

According to an announcement from the Mayor, the city is planning a parade to celebrate its 385th birthday.

“It looks to be a day of pomp and circumstance as well as a way to pay homage to our veterans and Medford’s rich history,” said the Mayor in a statement.

The parade is taking place on Sunday, September 27. More details about getting involved are posted on the city’s website.

Two weeks prior to the parade Medford is also hosting its second annual Community Day. The free event is taking place behind the Andrews Middle School and will include community tables, music, food, and other activities.

Registration forms for both events are available on the city’s website.
