Brooks Elementary School PTO wins $20,000

The Brooks Elementary School PTO is one of three local non-profit organizations that are splitting $35,000 thanks to a unique giving program at Assembly Row.

“Row It Forward” was a two-week long event in which shoppers and diners earned points for spending money and were able to allocate points to participating organizations. The Brooks PTO received the most points and won first place.

PTO members and Brooks principal Kevin Andrews accepted a $20,000 check on Wednesday morning. The money will help the school improve its technology, providing more licenses for educational programs like IXL Math.
