MHS Students Win Sportsmanship Video Contest

Gigi Braga and Victoria and Katrina Raschi, Medford High School seniors taking a video production class with teacher Jack Dempsey, have won first place in the MIAA’s Sportsmanship Essay/Multimedia contest, according to information released by the school.

The students won a cash prize and will present their video as honored guests during the 22nd Annual Sportsmanship Summit at Gillette Stadium on Friday, November 20. Their video will also be published in a compilation entitled “Sportsmanship: A Game Plan For Life, Volume XV.”

The video, below, focuses on the efforts of the softball team to honor the legacy of Boston Marathon bombing victim and Medford native Krystle Campbell.
