The Medford Mustang football team earned its first win of the season at Dracut on Friday night.

“Everyone contributed Friday night,” said Head Coach Jason Nascimento.

Quarterback Ben Antoine threw for over 150 yards, including two touchdown passes. Antoine had one rushing touchdown and ran for about fifty yards.

Coach Nascimento praised the offensive line for “solid play.” Myles Olivier had 100 receiving yards, including a touchdown. Corey Moore combined for about 150 yards rushing and receiving. Moore also made it into the end zone for a touchdown pass. Anthony Derienzo also had a “great night running the football,” said Coach Nascimento.

Matt Sullivan was key on both sides of the ball. He rushed for two touchdowns and “was all over the field on defense,” said Nascimento.

The Mustang defense forced three turnovers. Derienzo picked off an option pitch and brought it back down to the ten yard line. Aaron Sealey accounted for another key defensive play when he forced Dracut to fumble. Patrick Bien Aime also had a “great game on the D line,”

Medford’s next game is at home against Boston Latin on Friday, November 6. Kick off is at 7 PM at Hormel Stadium.
