January 21, 2016 update: The new opening date for Medford is February 22; the restaurant is going through its remaining city inspections.

Friday, January 15 is the tentative opening date for the Chicken and Rice Guys’ first “sit down and take out” location in Medford Square.

According to the Facebook page, the grand opening is taking place from 11 AM to 2 PM at 64 Salem Street in Medford Square. The familiar gold logo is in place out front and the owners are waiting on their final inspections.

The lucky customer who finds the “golden chicken sticker” under his/her plate during the grand opening will get free food for life from the Medford location.
