City Hall Opens Artist Exhibition Spaces

Starting in August of 2016, the City of Medford invites artists from Medford and surrounding communities to exhibit work in one of three exhibition spaces throughout City Hall. Visitors to the building will be now be able to see an array of 2-dimensional artwork including paintings, photography, collages, and more in three stairwell landings on the east and west sides of the building.

“Medford is full of incredibly talented artists and we’re excited to be able to exhibit their work in a highly public space,” said Mayor Stephanie M. Burke. “These new exhibition spaces will simultaneously provide artists with a much needed forum to exhibit their work, as well as help to beautify the building.”

Artwork will be rotated bi-monthly, and preference will be given to Medford residents. Artists who are interested in exhibiting their work at City Hall can download and fill out the interest form, or contact Allie Fiske, Business & Cultural Liaison at 781-393-2408 or email afiske@medford.org.
