Halloween Events in Medford- Updated

Several events for all ages are planned for Halloween in Medford.

On Saturday, October 23 Tufts University’s student volunteer group, the Leonard Carmichael Society, is holding its annual Halloween on the Hill from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Each year, Tufts hosts hundreds of local children from Medford and Somerville for a day of costumes, trick-or-treating, and fun and games! In pairs, Tufts volunteers lead a group of 5-10 kids around campus and the surrounding Tufts community. Email halloween.hill@gmail.com for more information.

The Medford Chamber of Commerce’s annual business trick-or-treat is taking place on Friday, October 28 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM in Medford, Haines, and West Medford squares. Participating businesses will have orange and black balloons.

The second annual West Medford Halloween block party is taking place on Saturday, October 29. The event is taking place from 2:00 to 11:00 PM and will feature activities for the entire family in West Medford Square. More information is available on the event website.

The Kiwanis Club of Medford is hosting an adult Halloween party on Saturday, October 29 at the Medford Lodge of Elks, 19 Washington Street. The party is taking place from 7:00 to 11:00 PM. The event is a fundraiser for the Kiwanis’ various charitable activities. There will be prizes for the top three costumes. For tickets contact Andrea Bates McGrath at (781) 396-4985.

In addition to the Halloween-specific events, the sixth annual Haines Square Fall Festival is taking place on Saturday, October 29 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Rain date is October 30.
