Medford Day Sunday, October 23rd

The City of Medford is thrilled to present Medford Day this Sunday, October 23 from 1-4 pm behind the Andrews Middle School.

This fall festival will celebrate the diversity of Medford and the businesses, organizations, neighborhoods, and citizens that call it home. This year, the event features over 75 booths with exhibits and activities offered by local artists, cultural organizations, sports teams, school clubs, local businesses – all located in Medford.

At the festival, the main stage will showcase the talent of local musicians and dancers. Performers include the family band The Flying Cattaneos; bluegrass and folk group Trail Mix; high school student group Medford Calling; and Matt Heaton, one of the region’s most sought-after children’s performers. Professional ballroom dance duo Dance Caliente will spice up the stage, and students from The Dance School will showcase their most recent routines.

Local food will be available on-site, including Mexican food from Tenoch: sweet and savory hand-pies from The Roving Lunchbox; hotdogs, burgers, fried dough, and other favorites from Dean’s Concessions; and delicious food from Chicken & Rice Guys. Clearview Farms will sell fall produce, goods, and pumpkins, just in time for Halloween.

A Touch-a-Truck area will allow children get up and personal with large vehicles including fire trucks, police cruisers and motorcycles, a BEAR truck, construction vehicles, and more. Also for kids, a Knucklebones play area will keep kids entertained and active throughout the entire event with unique play structures, games, and organized activities. Other games and activities include face painting, street hockey, corn hole games, demonstrations by martial arts and fitness studios, crafts for all ages, free massages, trivia, raffles, and giveaways.
