Bestsellers Cafe Plans Harry Potter Party

Though Bestsellers Cafe is undergoing major renovations it will still be part of the Harry Potter pandemonium that will sweep the globe when the last book in the hugely popular series comes out midnight July 21.

Owner Rob Dillman said he is planning two parties at neighboring ERA Andrew Realty’s banquet room, transforming the space into the Hogwarts School from the book.

The kids’ celebration begins at 4pm on Friday, July 20, and will include a magic show, costumes, crafts, games, and trivia. 

Starting at 7pm, adult Harry Potter fans will enjoy a story-telling from locals in addition to games, crafts, and trivia.

There will be several Hogwarts-themed raffles, including one for a complete Quidditch robe costume set.  Fans can also buy buttons, glasses, and other theme items.

Part of the sales from the evening will go toward the Medford Family Network.  Bestsellers is taking orders for the book, which can be picked up after midnight Friday evening or Saturday morning at ERA Andrew Realty, 12 High Street.  They are offering a 20% discount off the suggested retail price of $34.99.
