Spots Still Available for Veterans Memorial Golf Tourney

August 8 Tourney to Raise Funds for 3 New War Memorials

Today Mayor Michael McGlynn’s office announced that golfers can still sign up for the Veterans Memorial Golf Tournament, held at 10AM on Wednesday, August 8, at Lynn’s Gannon Golf Course.

Money raised will support the construction of 3 new war Memorials honoring veterans from World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars.  $150 per golfer includes 18 holes of golf with a golf cart, a tourney gift, and a buffet BBQ lunch.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams as well as for the longest drive and closest to the pin.
