Though neither of Medford’s semi-pro baseball teams made it to the playoffs this year, they posted some impressive performances during the season.Â

2 of the top 5 hottest bats belonged to Americans Johnny Welch (.471, 2nd in League) and Steve Tahmoush (.418, 5th in League). Welch recently signed with the North Shore Spirit.

8 Homeruns- tied for 4th in League with Wakefield Merchants
75 RBI’s- 8th in League

Pitcher Keith Forbes finished at the top of the League with 79 Strike Outs. According to the Andre Chiefs, Forbes just signed a pro baseball contract with the Sussex Skyhawks of the Can-Am League.
