Labor Day Run

Runners take their mark at the starting line on the Fellsway.

Mayor Michael McGlynn kicked off today’s annual Labor Day Road Race from the Irish American Club in Malden.  The race, once a half marathon through the streets of Malden, Stoneham, and Wakefield is now a 5K and 10K through Malden.

Emily Raymond, the winner of the race, rounding the final turn, with the boys of the Malden Catholic Cross-Country team hot on her heels.
