AC, Medford XC Teams Take Practice Run

Medford High’s boys and girls cross-country teams faced Arlington Catholic at Arlington’s appropriately named Menotomy Rocks Park Thursday afternoon.  The two teams took a practice run and completed a 2-mile race instead of the typical 5K (3.1 miles). 

Arlington Catholic’s Liz Sullivan, a senior captain, won the girls’ race in 14:55.  Check out the highlights courtesy of JD Sports Video:

Medford’s first regular season meet is at Waltham on Thursday, September 13, at 3:45PM.  AC, with the boys team led by Medford resident and senior captain Andrew Lee, opens their season on Tuesday, September 11 with a 3:45PM meet at Cardinal Spellman.
