From sports to wine to plastic yellow ducks in the Mystic River, here’s what’s happening in Medford this weekend:
Saturday, September 8
3,000 plastic yellow ducks are dumped into the Mystic River for Medford’s very first duck race. Eight hours of fun, food, and music kick off at 8:30AM at the Condon Shell with the ducks making their splash at 10:30AM
The Medford Arts Festival joins the fun at the Condon Shell- check out work from local artists and craftspeople and take a chance on a raffle with prizes from local stores and eateries
JV football plays Revere at 10AM at Hormel Stadium
Freshman football heads to Revere for a 10AM game
The Boys JV and Varsity Soccer teams challenge Newton North at a 12PM home game at Medford High’s Edgerly Field
Stop by Grapevine Travelers between 3PM and 7PM to sample wines from South Africa, a place that has a 300-year-old wine-making tradition.
