Farmers’ Market Seeks Medford’s Best Apple Recipes for Apple Festival Bake-Off

Apple season is upon us and starting next week delicious, crisp apples and fresh apple cider will debut at the Medford Square Market. To mark this joyous occasion, the Market wants Medford’s best apple recipes- pies, breads, and other creative twists on nature’s forbidden fruit.

The top three recipes will be selected for a good old-fashioned bake-off at the following week’s market. The winner will receive a special prize and the unparalleled distinction of being Medford’s first and best Apple Chef Extraordinaire!

If you think you have what it takes, stop by next week’s market (9/20) to submit your recipe or send an email with your recipe to medfordsquaremarket@gmail.com. The top three recipes will be selected before the following week’s market (9/27) and the bakers will be asked to bring their apple treat to the market for taste-testing by a panel of special apple judges.
