Check out the Local Arts Scene Tonight in Medford Square

Two receptions opening tonight will showcase the work of local artists, and luckily for everyone, they are happening right around the corner from each other.

13FOREST Gallery is holding its FALL07 Opening Reception of an exhibit with paintings and works on paper from three local artists- Rachel E. Mello, Tim Barner, and Susan Aaron- whose aesthetic philosophies have developed through career changes, experimentation, and chance.  The reception kicks off at 6PM and ends at 9PM at the gallery at 13 Forest Street.

Around the corner at TV3 at 5 High Street, the Medford Arts Center, Inc. (MACI) is holding a reception for the opening of the new exhibition series “Showcase of Artists.”  Three of MACI’s member artists- painters Eileen Connelly and June Holwell and photographer Patty Saunders- will have their work on display at TV3 through the month of October.  The reception also takes place from 6PM-9PM.

So go ahead and take advantage of the opportunity to check out local artwork in two separate locations on the same night- for free!
