Last-Minute Shoppers Can Save Money, Support Local Artists

13FOREST Gallery is holding its first-ever holiday sale from now through Christmas before it relocates to Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington.

The gallery has slashed many of its items by up to 20%, including its fine art and handmade gifts such as jewelry and ceramics.

All of the items have been created by local artists, several of them from Medford, including Will Tenney, Lisa Tang Liu, Adele Travisano, and Dominique Lecomte.

The gallery, located at 13 Forest Street in Medford Square, will be closing its doors on January 6 and will open up under the same name at 167A Massachusetts Avenue in East Arlington in February.

“We’d like to thank everyone for generously supporting 13FOREST Gallery this past year, and look forward to seeing you all at our new location later this winter,” wrote gallery owner Marc Gurton in a recent statement.

The gallery has expanded its hours for the holiday season, and is open Monday through Friday 1PM to 8PM, Saturday 12PM to 5PM, and Sunday 12PM to 4PM.

It will also be open from 11AM to 3PM on Christmas Eve, for those ultra-last minute shoppers.
