The Medford School Committee will hold its first regularly scheduled meeting of 2008 on Monday at City Hall at 7PM, and it will be a busy night.
First, the Committee will meet at 6PM in Room 201 to interview Dr. Kristen Goodell, who will likely be later appointed as the new School Physician.
The Committee will then hold a caucus in the same room at 6:30PM to formally select a Vice-Chairman and Secretary. The current Vice-Chairman, Robert E. Skerry, is expected to receive the nod for Vice-Chairman. William Brady currently serves as Secretary and Mayor Michael McGlynn is the Chair.
The Committee will then hold its regularly-scheduled meeting at 7PM in the Council chambers. Items on the agenda include an update on continued physical improvements at Medford High School and a report from the School Superintendent Roy Belson on charitable fundraising during the holiday season.
