Mustangs Pull Out Big Win Over Waltham Tuesday

The Medford High School boys basketball team pulled out a big win over Waltham Tuesday night, 50-47. The team, 2-10 overall and 1-6 in the Greater Boston League, was defeated by Waltham earlier in the season. The Mustangs head to Somerville High for a 7PM game Friday. In other Mustang sports news, the co-ed swim team swam circles around Everett at last Thursday’s meet at Malden, scoring 61 points to Everett’s 49. The team however was “outswam” by Waltham at home on Tuesday, earning 73 points to Waltham’s 89. The Mustangs’ next competition isn’t until February, when they head to a diving invitational on the 5th.
