Tom Yum Koong Celebrates 2nd Anniversary Friday

Thai restaurant Tom Yum Koong, located at 11 Forest Street, celebrates its second anniversary today. The restaurant, which first started out with takeout and delivery service, recently expanded into space formerly occupied by 13FOREST Gallery and now has a dining room that seats thirty-eight people. Restaurant owner Tom Daranuwat insists that no one else in the Boston area makes tom yum koong, a traditional Thai soup dish for which the restaurant is named, as authentically as his restaurant.
