Peace Games Event a Success

Third, fourth, and fifth-graders from the city’s four elementary schools enjoyed games, activities, and free food during the Peace Games extravaganza at Medford High School last week.  The event was organized by the Citywide PTO Alliance, Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service at Tufts University, and the Tufts Peace and Justice Studies program.  Peace Games promotes non-violence among children and helps them build skills and knowledge toward that end.  Above, children enjoy one of the event’s activities.  Photo courtesy Ann Marie Cugno.
