Local NAACP Hosts Clambake Trip to Raise Money

Foster’s lobstersThe Mystic Valley Area NAACP Freedom Fund Committee of the Mystic Valley Area Branch of the NAACP invites area residents to another New England Clambake on Saturday, August 2, at Foster’s Downeast Clam Bake in York, Maine.

Reservations are required for the annual event and seats are reserved on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are $75 per person for lobster, chicken, or vegetarian entrees.

Each bake includes mussels, steamers, chowder, potatoes, onions, corn on the cob, watermelon, cake, coffee, cot tea, lemonade, and iced tea.

The ticket price includes transportation, sightseeing, shopping spree, and meal and funds raised from the trip will support the activities of the Mystic Valley Area NAACP.
