Four to Eight Inches of Snow Expected in Medford, Area

Four to eight inches of light, fluffy snow are expected to fall in Medford and the area between 8AM and 8PM Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the area. Snow is expected to fall the most heavily between 11AM and 5PM, up to one to two inches per hour. The snow will likely taper off by the evening.

Wind gusts of up to 45 miles per hour are expected on Wednesday, with wind chill values in the single digits during the day and the negative single digits at night, so bundle up for those New Year’s Eve activities!

This is this month’s second storm.  The last storm dumped over a foot of snow on Medford.
