Tri-Cap Hosts Free Lunch for Homeless

Donations of Warm Clothes, Toiletries Needed

Tri-City Action Program, Inc., (Tri-Cap) of Medford, Malden, and Everett is hosting a free lunch in an effort to count the area’s homeless population.

The lunch is open to homeless individuals and families and is Thursday, January 29, from 12PM-2PM at the Tri-Cap Cyber Cafe, 110 Pleasant Street, Malden.

Those participating in the count will remain anonymous.  Tri-Cap will also distribute hats, gloves, scarves, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other essential items to those who attend the lunch.  Donations of the above items are needed and they can be dropped off at Tri-Cap or at the Office of Community Development at Medford City Hall.

Tri-Cap says the count is important because it helps them get necessary funding to support a variety of services.
