|Hundreds Attend Tufts’ Annual Literacy Event for Kids
Hundreds of Medford and Somerville kids descended upon Tufts University on Sunday for the 10th annual “Read by the River,” hosted by Tufts Hillel. The event promotes literacy and included 25 booths set up with games, arts and crafts, a scavenger hunt, bean bag toss, contests, and prizes. Kids also received free books and participated in reading circles, such as the one above with Medford Mayor Michael McGlynn. Photo courtesy Steve Eliopoulos.
