Local Pols to Speak on Civic Engagement
|Cugno, Skerry, Camuso Speak Out at Democratic Forum Thursday

The Medford Ward 8 Democratic Committee has organized a free public forum on civic engagement featuring some local pols and familiar faces.
Civic Engagement in Medford: How to Make a Difference in Your Community will feature City Councilor Paul Camuso, School Committee Members Robert E. Skerry, Jr. and Ann Marie Cugno, and Medford Square Revitalization Committee Chair Rick Orlando. Medford Chamber of Commerce Director Cheryl White will also be on hand to speak about the Chamber.
The event is being held on Thursday, April 30, at the Medford Public Library. Light refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Would have liked to have attended this. I’m glad elected officials are working to bring the idea of some “civic engagement” to people in this city. More individuals need to come out to the School Committee and City Council meetings and share their ideas.
