Voke Students Makeover ’85 Ford
|Crown Vic Made Over for Special Police
Vocational students in the Automotive Collision Repair program recently gave a 1985 Ford Crown Victoria a much-needed makeover.
Three sophomore students, Andrew Demora, Oscar Lopez, and Anthony Meyers took the car, which had been sitting around for years, and made it into a police car for the Special Police Division. They removed all of the 20-year-old decals, got rid of rust and dents, and sanded the cruiser to restore it to its original two tone blue and white colors.
“Chief Fredrick Mangonen and Sargent Robert Greenwood of the Special Police division asked if we could handle the job, knowing that it would be tough,” said Instructor Joe Kinch.
