Mustang Stampede Planned for Sunday, May 31

Medford Football Hosts Community Event

New Head Coach Rico Dello Iacono and the Medford Mustang football team have invited the community to a special event this weekend to get them pumped for the upcoming season.

The Mustang Stampede will take place from 12:30PM-4PM at the home of the Mustangs, Hormel Stadium. There will be plenty to keep busy, including the 6th Annual Push Up A Thon; guest speaker Pete Cronan, a 1983 Captain of the Super Bowl Champion Washington Redskins Super and WEEI Voice of BC Football; a parent meeting with Coach Dello Iacono; a cookout; vendor booths with cleats and spirit packs; player demonstrations, a clinic, and a “tractor tire flip;” music, raffles, including a football signed by Junior Seau; horseshoes, bocce, and more.

Alumni and guests are welcome.

The Mustangs’ first home game of the 2009 fall season is Friday, September 11 against Revere at 7PM.
