Mayor Helps Girl Scouts Plant Tree

Cadette Girl Scout Troop 71713 was presented with an official proclamation from Mayor Michael J. McGlynn recently as they earned their “Plant Life” Badge.

The Mayor presented each of the Cadette’s their badges and assisted them with the planting of a Kousa Dogwood Tree in Brooks Park on Main Street in Medford. In addition, the troop also planted some decorative flowers around the base of the tree. The Kousa Dogwood will flower every Spring.
