Homeless Man Wanted for Indecent Assault and Battery on a Child

Medford Police are on the lookout for a Level 3 Sex Offender accused of indecent assault and battery on a child under fourteen.

Richard Neary, pictured at right, 49, is homeless and is wanted for a default on an indecent assault and battery charge out of Middlesex Superior Court. He was recently reclassified as a Level 3 Sex Offender by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board.

According to the state Sex Offender Registry Board, Neary was convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child under fourteen years of age in 1980, indecent assault and battery on a person aged fourteen or older in 1995 and 1996, and open and gross lewdness and lascivious behavior in 1991.
