Bad Weather Moves Event Indoors to Town Hall
Governor Deval Patrick will make a stop in Arlington as he makes his way around the state on his “Town Hall Tours.”
Gov. Patrick will host a forum on Monday, June 22, from 7PM-8PM at Arlington Town Hall, 730 Massachusetts Avenue, to discuss important issues with the public. The forum is free and open to all.
The Governor and his administration are holding thirty-six of these forums across the state. According to information released by the governor’s office, the public meetings will allow local residents an opportunity to discuss difficult budget decisions, reform proposals and revenue packages.
“As a steep decline in revenue continues to force painful budget choices, now is the time for public officials to engage with the public we serve – to ask them what kind of government they want and how to best pay for it. These forums will help us accomplish that critical goal, and bring the reform people want back to Beacon Hill,” said Governor Patrick in a written statement.
