School Budget Meeting, Hearing Scheduled

Budget Meeting June 24, Formal Hearing June 29

School Superintendent Roy Belson and the Medford School Committee will convene to discuss the fiscal year 2010 budget.

A budget meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 6:30PM at the Medford High School library. According to Supt. Belson, the School Committee will review the budget with department heads, principals, and other school officials.

The budget will be available for review on Wednesday, June 24 during normal business hours in the School Superintendent’s office. Budget summaries will also be posted on the district webpage on Thursday, June 25.

A formal budget hearing is scheduled for Monday, June 29 at 7PM in the Medford High School library.

The public is encouraged to attend both meetings. Supt. Belson said all interested parties will have an opportunity to be heard.
